About Us
What to Expect From Restylane Treatments
Preparation
Preparing for injectable treatments is easier than getting ready for surgery. Certain steps, like avoiding any medications or supplements that thin the blood and increase the risk of bleeding, can be helpful for making recovery easier. You can also stay hydrated before your treatment to get the best results. Otherwise, just come to your consultation ready to discuss the results you want and any relevant medical history.
Injections
The chosen Restylane product will need to be injected into several different points to add even volume to the area. Each injection will be more comfortable because of the lidocaine in the formulation, and we can also use topical numbing cream to decrease the sensation of the injections. The entire area can be treated in around 15-30 minutes.
Aftercare
Dermal fillers can cause some swelling, which will mask your final results for several days. Eventually, the filler will settle in, the swelling will go down, and you will be able to enjoy the full volumizing effects. To help with the healing process, avoid touching or massaging the injected area for several days and avoid strong heat or sun exposure. We also recommend waiting to resume intense workouts for one or two days.
